Deb Bozin posted a condolenceSo many memories of Dee and Mike, but here's one of my favorites and it's from the beginning of Dee and Mike. Mike had just returned home from military service in Korea and he and Dee were going on their first date. She was all dolled up in a short pullover sweater, tight skirt with a kick pleat in the back, seamed nylons (this would have been in the late 50's) and high heals. And there was Mike in the Kitchen waiting for her and so handsome in his dark blue uniform, hat in hand. The smiles lit up the room. It made us all happy to see them. Their love really did last a life time. Mike was a welcoming, friendly family man. We always looked forward to visiting your family, playing cards, sharing a meal, and of course the Christmas Eve parties. And now as we've grown apart, we still have memories to cherish and hold dear. I imagine heaven is a pinochle party and my parents are at the same table with Dee and Mike; Mom and Dee are winning and accusing Dad and Mike of cheating. Or is it the other way around? My thoughts and prayers are with you girls. Love, Aunt Deb and Uncle Tim
