Mr Schram was my favorite teacher in high school. I enjoyed learning to weld and, to this day I still love too weld. He really enjoyed his work and loved all of his students.
Mr. Schram was more than just a teacher to me. He was a mentor and a coach. Many of us called him "Hank" after the famous coach. Mr. Schram coached some of us for the 1980 high school welding competition. We were able to take first, second, and third that day making Mr. Schram the overall instructor of the year. We were all treated a bit different after that day.
Rest in Peace Mr. Schram,
