Lela May Clark, age 91, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her home in Canadian Lakes. Cremation will take place with a memorial service to be planned in the next few weeks. Lela was born October 20, 1922 in Champaign, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Goldie (Sparrow) Good. She grew up on farms located in both Illinois and Indiana. Lela spent most her adult life living in Michigan. She loved being outside, enjoying bird watching, gardening, and golfing. Her family will miss her beautiful smile and cozy hugs. Left to treasure her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Melanie Henry of Canadian Lakes; her brother, Clement Good of Indiana, step sons: Terry (Jody) Clark, Nolan (Susan) Clark, Brian (Anne) Clark; six grandchildren, Jason (Kathy) Henry and Erin (Nora Burrows) Henry, Kevin Clark, Bradley and Joshua Clark, Heath Clark and Bill Clark as well as eleven great-grandchildren, Jake, Luke and Cole Henry, Tessa & Nina Clark, Ben & Jillian Clark, Ellery & Camille Clark and Corrin &, Brianna Clark. Lela was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Erroll Clark; son, Doug; and sister, Jean Phillips.
