Neal G. Stanley

September 12, 1951 - March 13, 2014

Neal G. Stanleyage 62, of Remus, died Thursday March 13, 2014 at home surrounded by family. A funeral service will take place Saturday, March 15, at New Hope United Methodist Church in Mecosta at 11:00am. Visitation will also be at the church on Friday night from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and again on Saturday from 10:00am to the time of service at 11:00am. He was born to the late Gordon Sr. and Shirley Stanley on September 12, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan. Neal was a Vietnam Veteran, a musician with the Northern Flashback as a lead singer and guitar player for many years, and above all, a beloved husband to Carla Stanley and father, to Mark Stanley. He is survived by his wife; son; siblings, Luana, Sharon, Vicky, Carl, Chris, and Gordon Jr., and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Neal is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family. Envelopes will be available at the church.
