My wife, Linda, and I had the pleasure of living next to Bob and Judy for many years on Union Street and enjoyed watching the girls grow up. Bob was a true gentleman with a warm smile and a firm handshake. We shared a history together as clerks from Arms Brothers, although Bob preceded me by several years. When Theron Arms passed away in March, 1966, Bob and I and four other clerks and former "Arms Boys" had the honor to be designated as pallbearers for the funeral service. I regret that we lost touch, as so often happens, when Bob and Judy "retired" to Canadian Lakes. Rest in Peace, Bob, and know that you fought the good fight and completed the race.
