Adeline Jane Camp's Obituary
Adeline Jane (McHugh) Camp, age 94, left us peacefully at home surrounded by family to join her husband of 67 years, Victor, on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Adeline, daughter of Michael and Velma (Gillmer) McHugh, is mourned by her children: Larry (Rosemary) Camp and Catherine McBurney of Rochester Hills, Michigan; Elizabeth Andrews of Houston, Texas; Patricia (Fred Timkovich) Camp of Burton, Michigan; and Jennifer Camp of Spring, Texas; by her eleven grandchildren, their spouses, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Adeline was warm and welcoming with a wicked, delightful sense of humor. Family was her priority and she was steadfast and strong, never allowing anyone she considered family to doubt her love and support. She was very creative, enjoyed children, and was passionate about baking. She was able to indulge those passions as a Cafeteria Manager at Stiles Elementary School where she baked her own breads and treats. Much loved by her six siblings, Adeline was born and lived most of her life in Michigan, but spent her last 14 years in Texas. She is now coming home to rest.
A celebration of Adeline's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Brigham Funeral Chapel, 413 E. Gilson St., Edmore, MI 48829. Interment will follow in Vinewood Cemetery in Edmore. A Visitation will also take place on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service (1:00 p.m.).
