Alfred was ALWAYS there for me. No matter how large or small a problem I had,he was my #1 go to guy and he never let me down. He was my hero when I was a child and he became an even bigger hero in my adulthood.He guided me through my early widowhood and made me know I would be okay. He was a mans man and the only brother I ever needed because he was the best I could have ever imagined.

Al was my supervisor in 1996 while my wife and i were expecting our first child. Three times I was called out to rush my wife to the hospital and three times I frustratingly returned to work explaining to Al that it was a false alarm. He would just chuckle and state that this is normal and tell me to relax. The next time may be the one. His kindness and patient understanding has left an indelible impression on me since that day.
