Alice Jean Badillo's Obituary
Edmore - Alice Jean (Aldrich) Badillo, age 76, of Blanchard, MI went to be with her Lord and Savior, on December 25, 2020 at St. Laurence Sparrow Hospice House in Lansing. Alice was born September 12, 1944 in Blanchard, the daughter of Wilbur and Beatrice (Shaw) Aldrich. She was raised in Blanchard before moving to Clare where she graduated from Clare High School Class of 1958. Upon graduation, Alice furthered her education through The Oregon Bible College in Oregon, Illinois. Alice was a Missionary in Mexico over 20 years and went to the Philippines twice. At the age of 65, after working over 20 years, she retired from Meijer in Mount Pleasant. Alice enjoyed painting, biking, walking, taking pictures, and vacationing. She loved and cared for all God's creatures and had a strong and deep faith. She was a member of the Church of God.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Beatrice Aldrich, one brother, Wilbur "Dale" Aldrich, and two children (her cats Mommy and Odie). She will be missed by her loving family, church family, and friends; one sister, Doris (Rex) Shaw of TN, one sister-in-law, Joyce Aldrich of Clare, one incredibly special aunt and uncle, Donald and Vivian Bush of Blanchard, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Alice's most adored and beloved children "Pete" the Cockatiel would talk and bite, and three cats named Percy, Boe, and Splash.
Funeral Services for Alice will be Friday, January 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dick Eldred officiating. The family will be accepting friends for visitation one hour before the service. We are asking all to bring and wear a mask and hand sanitizer will be provided by the guestbook. For those wishing to give Contributions, they may be made to help the family.
