Obituary
Edmore - Alice Irene Evitts, age 97, of Vestaburg, MI, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Schnepp's Senior Care of St. Louis. Alice was born and raised in Ferris Township on April 19, 1921, the daughter of Daniel and Berniece (Wood) Bollinger. Alice graduated from Vestaburg High School and then continued her education at Lansing Cosmetology. Alice's grandfather, Samuel Bollinger, officiated the marriage joining Alice and Lester Evitts in 1944 at her parent's home. They remained happily married until his passing twenty-five years ago.
Alice is survived by her children Dawn Humphrey of Vestaburg, and Ron (Shelley) Evitts of Thompsonville; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Lester Evitts; parents Daniel and Berniece Bollinger; daughter Janet Hoffman; son-in-law ElJay Humphrey; and grandson Trevor Scott Humphrey.
