Allen David Ropp's Obituary
Denham Springs, LA - Allen David Ropp entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 19, 2020, at the age of 39.
He was born December 22, 1980, in Big Rapids the son of David and Diane Ropp.
Allen was an electrician at Exxon at the time of his passing. He loved to spend time outdoors, whether it was riding motor bikes with his son, cutting the grass with his tractor, or being out with the family on the boat. Having a big heart, Allen would help anyone whenever he could. One of his passions was cooking, and he did it often for family, neighbors, and coworkers. Some of the fondest memories with Allen were Halloween hayrides and bonfires in the back yard. Prior to becoming a resident of Denham Springs where he made his final home, he was an electrician in Florida. Florida holds a special place in his heart, as it was where he met and married his wife, Leila. That is also where his two children were born. Since moving to Denham Springs, some of the family's fondest memories have been vacations to Florida.
He was a loving husband and father, and will be missed.
Allen is survived by his wife Leila; their children, Jasmine and Jared Ropp; his father David Ropp of Destin, FL; his mother Diane Griswold of Manistee, MI; his brother Matt Ropp; his sister Christa Reifers; sister-in-law Neiley Patterson; nieces, Yasmine and Reaghen Bowen; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the Aetna Township Cemetery in Morley. A luncheon will be served around 1:00 p.m., at Tullymore Golf Resort, 11969 Tullymore Dr., Stanwood, MI.
