Amanda Nicole Gumbel's Obituary
Edmore - Amanda Nicole (Hacker) Gumbel, age 32, passed away at her home on Friday, January 28, 2022, with her family at her side. She was born on February 15, 1989, in Carson City, Michigan to William and Angelica (Spolarich) Hacker. Amanda attended Vestaburg Schools until the 9th grade when she transferred to Carson City-Crystal Schools, graduating in 2007. Amanda was employed as a homecare provider for three years, then as a cook and waitress until 2019. She loved playing cards, going to concerts, boating, and hanging out with her friends and cousins.
Amanda will be forever missed by her parents, William and Angelica of Vestaburg; brothers, Willie Hacker of Edmore, Travis Hacker of Mt. Pleasant; grandfather, Wayne Hacker of Vestaburg; best friend, Autumn Vining of Crystal, who was there for her daily; close friend, Reb Marble; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her beloved dog "Frankie".
Amanda is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Janet Hacker, Linda Wydryck: aunt Eva Hacker; best friend, Amanda J. Sheets.
A memorial service will take place at 12 pm on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Pine Grove Church in Stanton with Pastor Bruce Anna officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 am till the time of service.
