Andrew Lindblom's Obituary
Big Rapids Andrew C. Lindblom, age 92, of Big Rapids passed away. He was born on February 3, 1919 in Idaho Springs, Colorado, the son of Anders V. and Maria (Forster) Lindblom. He was a graduate of the University of Denver and after induction into the U.S. Army in 1942, was selected to train in physics at Harvard, Yale and MIT. Andrew served during WWII in the Army Air Corps in North Africa and Italy. He taught in the physics department at Ferris State University from 1954, retiring in 1982. Andrew is survived by three children, Andrew Charles (Penelope) Lindblom II, of North Carolina, Franklin (Melanie) Lindblom, of Birmingham, Michigan and Victor (Mary) Lindblom of Virginia, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother John (Judy) Lindblom of Colorado plus several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Mary, his beloved wife of 66 years. At his request, no services will be held. Arrangements are by the Mohnke Funeral Home, Big Rapids.
