Angelique "Angie" R. Wright's Obituary
Obituary
Lakeview - Angelique "Angie" (Chaffee) Wright, age 42, of Lakeview went to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital Long Term Care. Angie was born on February 11, 1977 in Lakeview, the daughter of Reid and Renae (Snyder) Chaffee. She was raised in Lakeview, Coral, Howard City, and Amble. Angie attended school at Lakeview and then Tri County where she graduated in 1996.
Angie proved to be strong, faithful, and dedicated to whatever job she set her mind too. As a teen, Angie worked on Randy Dragt's dairy farm milking cows. She then worked for the Amble Gas Station, and then at Leppink's Courtesy Counter.
Angie married Michael Wright on September 21, 2002 (the hottest day of that year) at the Amble United Methodist Church. Angie was raised in the Amble United Methodist Church where she marked the sixth generation being baptized in the church.
Angie's first bout of cancer came at the tender age of 25. Mike and Angie had two babies still in diapers at the time. Even exhausted, she battled her cancer with the help and support of her family every step of the way. Angie managed to be awarded her Associates in Business from Phoenix University at this time.
She was at the point of being medically listed "cancer free" when her second bout of cancer came. She was working as a secretary for Brigham Funeral Chapel. Angie continued her valiant battle, never giving up, with the hope to "just see her boys graduate".
Angie enjoyed watching TV especially HSN (where she loved the DeLuca's Jewelry Collection), and cooking network shows. She enjoyed painting, crafting, crocheting, and reading. She was a talented cook and baker and enjoyed cooking with family and friends. Along with her mother and sister, she would make special treats for other family members at Christmas.
Angie will be deeply missed by her husband Michael Wright and two sons James "Jay" and Logan "Law" Wright all of Lakeview; parents Reid and Renae Chaffee of Amble; brother Ryan (Cassandra and children) Chaffee of Howard City; sister Gwendolyn (Shawn) Cumming of Vestaburg; brother-in-law Chuck Wright of Lakeview; grandfather Sheldon E. Snyder of Morley; and her very special dogs Skye and Ginger; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers.
Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents Wesley and Lillian Chaffee, and Virginia Snyder; her parents-in-law Charles and Bernadene Wright; and aunt Pamela Chaffee.
There will be a private celebration in Angie's memory. Food will be provided. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to contribute in Angie's memory please consider Michael Wright for James and Logan Wright. Condolences to the family may be made utilizing the guestbook at www.brighamfuneralchapel.com. Rest in peace our Angel until we meet again.
