Ann Higbee's Obituary
Ann I Higbee, age 74, of Lakeview, passed away October 13, 2016 at Spectrum Health Big Rapids Campus in Big Rapids, Michigan. Ann was born September 5, 1942 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of Leo and Adele (Miller) Gaskill. Ann was raised and attended school in Greenville, Michigan. Ann was a Registered Nurse and was employed by a Belding Christian Nursing Home. She was a member of the Eastern Stars of Howard City and she enjoyed knitting, puzzles, and puzzle books. On March 27, 1960, Ann married Richard Higbee in Greenville, MI.
Ann will be missed by one daughter Rebecca Ann (Thomas) Scott of Lakeview; grandchildren Dawn Sue Cloud, Calvin Schutter, Rabakah Schutter; and one brother Daune (Nancy) Miller.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Richard Higbee; one daughter Hila Llorena Higbee; and parents Adele C. Miller and Leo Gaskill.
A celebration of life for Ann has been planned at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Lakeview, Michigan on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dave England officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.
