Ann L. Warner's Obituary
Big Rapids Ann Louise Warner, 86, of Port Richey, Florida, formerly of Big Rapids, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008, in Port Richey. She was born November 19, 1922, in Boston, Massachusetts. Ann loved poetry, and as a young woman she wrote for a local newspaper in Boston. In 1945, Ann married Walter Bud Warner of Big Rapids, and came to live here for most of her life. She was member of the Big Rapids Aerie Eagles #2535 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Gray Ladies at Mecosta County General Hospital. Her husband Bud preceded Ann in death on July 31, 1996. Surviving are her son, Richard A. Warner of Oldham, England; her daughter, Laura J. Warner of Minnesota; and 2 granddaughters, Maria and April. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Rev. Dean Prentiss officiating. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be left at the funeral home, where Anns family will greet friends today (Tuesday) from 3-7 p.m., and prior to services on Wednesday.
