Anne E. Yost's Obituary
Anne E. Yost, 76, of Big Rapids, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Mecosta County Medical Center. She was born July 1, 1935, in Big Rapids, the daughter of Paul and Marie (Depuydt) Renne, and graduated from Big Rapids High School. In 1955, Anne married Gordon W. Yost, who preceded her in death in 2002. Anne lived in Mecosta County her entire life, and was a member of St. Paul's Campus Parish in Big Rapids. Anne is survived by three daughters, Carol (Mark) Malone of Muskegon, Sandy Yost of Big Rapids, Linda (Mike) Page of Paris; one son, Michael (Lori) Yost of Big Rapids; a granddaughter Emily; 2 sisters, Sister Mary Paula of Cincinnati, OH, Marian Stamper of Muskegon; 3 brothers, Leo Renne, Walter Renne of Big Rapids, and Peter Renne of Stanwood; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Ellen, a sister Louise, and 3 brothers, John, David, and Lawrence Renne. Anne's family will greet friends from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Private family burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Anne's favorite charities, either the St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hospice of Michigan, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
