Anthony "Tony" Glen Perkins' Obituary
Lakeview-Anthony "Tony" Glen Perkins, age 43, of Turk Lake went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2021. He was born in Grand Rapids on January 4, 1978, the son of Richard "Perk" and Marilyn (Yenchesky) Perkins. Tony was raised in Montcalm County where he was home schooled in Gowen after attending Oakfield Academy until 5th grade. After graduating, he continued his education at Montcalm Community College, the National Institute of Technology and Ferris State University. He was currently employed by Firstronics in Grand Rapids as a test-repair technician, and previously by X-Rite and others in the Greenville and Grand Rapids area using his computer and programing skills. Tony was also a member of the Montcalm Township Fire Department for over 19 years, earning several special recognitions for his excellent service. His parents felt blessed by all of his accomplishments. He was laid back, jovial and a friend to almost everyone. His passions were anything with wheels or motors, traveling, exploring, singing along to music of every kind and food. The Lord wanted Tony's company, and he will greatly missed by many.
Tony is survived by his mother, Marilyn of Turk Lake, and was preceded in death by his father, Richard in 2005.
A graveside service with full firefighter procession and honors, by the Montcalm Township Fire Department was held at Hillside Cemetery in Entrican on November 4, 2021.
