Arlene (Alice) Egan's Obituary
On September 10, 2022, Arlene (Alice) Egan passed away peacefully at her home. She was born November 27, 1937, to Robert and Alice (McConnell) Patterson, in Caseville, Michigan.
On June 30, 1956, she married, Patrick Leo Egan, and together, the two grew their family to include four children.
Arlene was a huge fan of playing BINGO and taking gambling trips to Las Vegas with her daughters to visit her grandson. She also enjoyed her time spent traveling with family no matter where they were headed. She could often be found sitting in her favorite chair, and watching game shows or Hallmark on TV. Her family was very important to her, and time spent with them on the front porch visiting was always a time to cherish. Chocolate chip cookies and coffee were always on hand at Arlene’s house, which was much appreciated by her son and grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Saint Michael Catholic Church, and a member of the American Legion in Blanchard.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Hope (Dick) Courser, Jo (Larry) Doerr and John Egan; grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda) Tiffany, Jill (Corey) Wittingen, David (Yolanda) Doerr, Chris (Megan) Egan, Brian Egan (Chelsea Grover), Jeremiah Egan, and Michael Goodwin; one sister, Alseba (Bud) Perkins; Great grandchildren, Landon, Jamie, Justin, Danielle, Luke, Henry, Everly, and one baby boy on the way.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alice; husband, Patrick; one daughter, Carol Rose; one daughter-in-law, Carol Ann; one granddaughter, Melissa; and several siblings.
Cremation will take place with a private family burial to follow at a later date.
