Arthur Jesse Guild's Obituary
Edmore-Arthur Jesse Guild, age 84, of Blanchard, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Arthur was born on November 22, 1936, in Elm Hall, MI to Ronald and Violet Guild Berndt. He married the love of his life Leta M. Brown of Six Lakes, on September 14, 1956, at the United Brethren Church of Six Lakes. He worked at Hitachi Magnetics for 38 plus years, retiring on January 31, 1993. He then worked for McDonalds for 14 years. Retiring He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and fundraising for charity events. Arthur was a member of the United Methodist Church of Edmore, and a lifetime member at the Masonic Lodge 360 in Edmore.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Leta; 4 children, Jeffrey Lynn Guild of California, Arthur Joe (Shelley) Guild of Sidney, Jane Marie (Lonnie) Hagen of Edmore, James Ronald (Roxanne) Guild of Wyoming, Mi; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Guild Jr. of California, Chester Lee Guild of Edmore, Robert Lee (Charlotte) Guild of Big Rapids, Alvie (Donna) Berndt of Vestaburg; sister, Bonnie (Gary) Proctor of Alma; brother in laws, George Brown Jr. and Dale Brown; sister in law, Marcella Christensen. Along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Joseph Guild, brother, Donald Guild; sisters, Wilma Cross, Betty Jean Guild; In-laws, George and Elsie Brown.
A committal service will be held at 11:00am on November 20, 2021, at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Six Lakes. A visitation and luncheon will be immediately following at the Faith United Methodist Church in Edmore.
