Barbara Kay Biddinger's Obituary
Barbara Kay Biddinger of Stanwood died peacefully in her home on January 7, 2023. Born to Ernest and Jessie (Amos) Ristau on June 28, 1946, the family made their home in Detroit where Barbara grew.
After attending some college, she married Rick Biddinger on June 24, 1967, becoming a June bride. She relished in her life as a caregiver and raising their children, Scott and Karen. She kept herself active, enjoying a good game of golf and a better game of tennis.
Barbara was a long-time volunteer at Beaumont Children’s Hospital in Royal Oak where she spent many hours in the service of those in need. She was able to live for just one more Christmas, her favorite of the holidays. Peace and love were her strongest wishes for humankind, passing that along to all who came across her path.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her kids, grandkids, and family dogs. One tough cookie, Barbara never had a complaint about anything, even when she was the one suffering.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to keep her memory alive is her husband, Rick; children Scott Biddinger and Karen Biddinger and grandchildren, Alec & Catherine Biddinger.
