Barbara C. Windischhofer's Obituary
St. Louis- Barbara Caroline Windischhofer, age 67, passed away May 14, 2017 at home. She was born August 17, 1949, in Westerly, Rhode Island, the daughter of Edwin and Rita (Whitford) Cottle.
Barbara moved to the St. Louis area in 2004. She was employed by General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division, in Grattan, CT, for over 30 years. Upon retiring in 2004, she moved to be near her grandchildren. She then began working at 7-Eleven in St. Louis. She enjoyed her friends in the St. Louis community and loved her family. Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren and family, Gardening, and playing Farmville.
She is survived by her son, Ian (Tammie) Windischhofer of Vestaburg, grandchildren Logan and Grace Windischhofer, and 3 sisters, Peggy (Joe) Sardinha of TN, Kay Crider of RI, and Marilyn Overbaugh of FL.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Cottle and former husband Eric Windischhofer.
Per Barbara's wishes, a private family service will be held in CT.
