Ben Bayless Kinser's Obituary
Big Rapids - Ben Bayless Kinser, 81, of Big Rapids, passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife, Joyce, at his side on Monday, December 23, 2019,
He was born June 23, 1938 in Maryville, TN, the son of Albert and Grace (Bayless) Kinser. Ben graduated from Maryville High School in 1956 and then attended UT in Knoxville. He served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years as an electronics technician.
Ben's working years started with IBM in Grand Rapids, MI repairing typewriters and copiers. After 15 years he switched to an independent dealer and had a successful career in sales of office equipment before retiring in 1999.
In 1971, Ben married Joyce (Pettit) and they began their life together in Tennessee, living in Knoxville for 10 years and then 30 years in Chattanooga before moving back to Big Rapids in 2013.
Ben is survived by his wife Joyce; two daughters, Mimi Stalzer of Nunica and Kathy Gould of Spring Lake; one son Albert of Milledgeville, IL; his sister Mary Rymal of Spring Lake; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a family celebration of life at a later time. Care and arrangements are entrusted to the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
