Betty J. Healey's Obituary
Big Rapids Betty J. Healey, known and loved by all as Nana, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, December 31, 2007, at her residence. She was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, but was not the Show Me type. Nana always showed us the virtues of love, peace, patience, and kindness. She was a friend, sister, and Mother to all, and found a place in her heart for baseball and everyone she met. Nana is so fondly and lovingly remembered by her 5 children, Kathy, Ken (Judie), Cindy, Cheryl, and Chuck (Rose), as well as 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great- grandchildren. You may have slipped from our side, but you will forever remain in our hearts. We love you! Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Big Rapids, with Rev. Bruce Peterson officiating. Nanas family will greet friends at the church after 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
