Beverley Lorain Stoneham's Obituary
Beverley Lorain Stoneham age 85, passed away early Friday morning, April 29, 2016 at University of Michigan Hospital. Beverley was born February 13, 1931 in Sheridan, Michigan the daughter of James and Vera (Dulyea) Alexander. Beverley was united in marriage to Robert M. Stoneham on June 9, 1951. She worked for Chrysler Automotive for 17 years. Beverley was blessed by God with the gift of writing which became her ministry in 1989. The stories she wrote were inspired by her great faith and love of family. She shared the stories by compiling them into small books adorned with hand painted covers as a "gift of love." Throughout her ministry, she shared over 500 books which have been passed on and shared with countless others, just as they were intended to be. Beverley will be dearly missed.
Beverley is survived by her children; Danny (Cindy) Stoneham, Kathleen (Gregory) Perkins, Gary (Kim) Stoneham, Karen Stoneham and Kimberly Morgan; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; sister; Joann Helmer, sisters-in-law Barb Rios, Bonnie Alexander and Ella Alexander; brothers-in-law Doug Claflin, Phil Vitale, Herschal Haling and John Campbell. Beverley was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Robert Stoneham; grandchildren, Sarah and Leah Morgan, brothers James Jr., Richard, Donald, Robert, and Gordon Alexander; sisters Marilyn Haling, Phyllis Vitale, Barbara Claflin, Janice Swainston, and Carole Campbell.
Visitation is planned for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Faith United Methodist Church, Edmore followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Reverend Michael Riegler to officiate. Internment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stoneham family c/o Kathleen Perkins.
