Beverly Ruth Erickson's Obituary
In loving memory of Beverly Ruth Erickson (Ma Peffer)
August 2, 1939 - January 15, 2023
Bev was one of the first female over the road truck drivers. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bev loved to crochet and made several blankets for friends and family over the years. Loved to play bingo and enjoyed watching wildlife mainly the birds and the deer. She was also well known for her cooking particularly her baked beans and cookies.
Bev is survived by her brother Larry Erickson of Grant Center; her son Jesse (Julie) Peffer, daughters, Carol (Karl) Mead and Barbara Ireland all of Reed City; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her companion and best friend of 16 years Roy Caudill, brothers Junior and LaVail Erickson, and sisters Rose Ann Quast and Nancy Homister.
A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held from 1-2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Reed City United Methodist Church. Care and arrangements are entrusted to the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Share a memory or express condolences at mohnkefuneralhome.com.
