Beverly Ann Korytkowski's Obituary
Beverly Ann Korytkowski, loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital. She was 72 years old.
Beverly was born January 6, 1950, the daughter of Harrison and Ella (Meier) Decker. Never moving far from home, she and Archie Korytkowski raised their four children in the Blanchard area, after they were married March 25, 1967. Beverly was a talented crafter, making children’s chairs, and large standing stuffed animals, which she would sell at local craft shows. And although crafting was her passion, she had numerous other talents which included sewing, cooking, and even the ability to build her own home alongside her husband. Hard working, determined, sassy and spunky were all words used to describe Beverly. She enjoyed ice fishing and playing cards with family and friends. Sunday dinners were a must with the entire family, and Beverly always made sure no one went hungry. Her lasagna, and pretty much any pie she made were among her most favored dishes.
Beverly was a quiet soul who focused solely on her family throughout life. She was the absolute best companion to her husband of 55 years, Archie; the most wonderful mother and friend to her children, Archie III, Andrew (Ashleigh), Alden, and Angelia Korytkowski; a loving sister to her siblings, Raymond Decker and Nora Simon; caring grandmother to Austin, Rhyen, Dacey, and Dylan, and a rock to her close friend, Desiree Korytkowski.
Per Beverly’s wishes, cremation will take place with no service to follow.
