Billy Joe Grover's Obituary
Billy Joe Grover, age 46, of Vestaburg, MI passed away at his home on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Billy Joe was born on August 9, 1972 in Alma, MI the son of Robert Lee and Yvonne Sue (Hubble) Grover. He was raised in Vestaburg and graduated from Vestaburg High School class of 1990. Billy Joe was a Factory Supervisor for Morbark Industries over twenty-three years. On May 22, 1993, Billy Joe married Sherri Lynn Grove at the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church in Gratiot County. Together, they raised two beautiful children, Carolynn and Curtis. Billy Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. His passion was spending time with his friends and family.
Billy Joe is survived in death by his wife Sherri Grover of Vestaburg; daughter Carolynn Sue (Connor James) Mapes of Rockport, TX; son Curtis Joe Grover of Vestaburg; one granddaughter Caitlynn Jean Mapes; his mother Yvonne Grover; two brothers Tim Grover of Ionia, and Mike Grover of Vestaburg; one sister, Chris Neal; and nieces, nephews, and friends.
Billy Joe was preceded in death by his father Robert "Bob" Grover; and parent-in-laws David and Carol Grove.
A Celebration in Billy Joe's memory will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 17,2018 at the Pine River Recreation Club (The Sportsman Club) in Elm Hall. A luncheon will immediately follow.
