Brenda Kay Sexton's Obituary
Brenda Sexton, age 63, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Corwell Health Greenville hospital. Brenda loved to play softball and was an FFA queen in Belding when she was younger. She often grew flowers and veggies. Brenda even had a peach tree and canned much of her food. The most important thing to Brenda was spending time with her family and friends. She loved going on family vacations to Torch Lake, having coffee with her best friend Carrie, and spending time with her grandchildren. She would also go to her sister's house with her mom and enjoyed their company. Brenda knew how to light up a room with her smile and big Brenda hugs. She always made sure that her hair was perfect, regardless of the amount of hairspray it took to fix it. Brenda did her best to make everyone felt loved, regardless of whether there was a disagreement. Brenda loved Jesus and was a Sunday School teacher. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she always did her best to make sure that it was special and magical. Brenda will be missed by her husband, Randy Sexton; daughters, Brandi (Bill) Blizzard, Brittney Sexton; grandchildren, Gavin, Audrie, Corbin, and Evyn; Brothers, Mike Nielsen, Eric (Theresa) Nielsen; Sister, Kim (Dennis) Burns; along with many nieces, nephews, friends and many cousins. Preceded in death by Barbara (Charles) Wood and Ron Neilsen. A memorial service will be held in Brenda's honor on Saturday, November 2, at 2:00PM at the Church of the Gentle Shepard in Six Lakes with Pastor Bob Jones officiating.
