Bruce Talmage Bretzke's Obituary
Bruce Talmage Bretzke, 70 of Canadian Lakes joined his grandson, Bruce Talmage Bretzke III and Jesus in heaven. He was born on November 11, 1942 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Paul E. and Beulah Fern (Smith) Bretzke. Bruce served in the United States Air Force and then was a police officer for the City of Flint. He was formerly commissioner and Chairman of the Crawford County Board of Commissioners. Upon retirement he and wife, Pamela moved to Canadian Lakes in Mecosta County. He was loved and loved his family. They will miss his confidence and "get it done" attitude. Bruce is survived by Pamela, his wife of 48 years, one daughter, Angela Greer (Curt) Finch of Big Rapids and one son, Bruce Talmage (Kelli) Bretzke Jr. of Greenville, 5 grandchildren, Tre and Alyssa Finch, Taylor, Savannah and Titus Bretzke, one brother; Brian (Polly) Bretzke of Flushing. Also surviving are in-laws, Bob and Mary Brotebeck, Kurt and Jeanne Lovegrove plus many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Jane Pribramsky and grandson Bruce III. No Services are planned at this time.
