Candace Marie Shepard-Younce, age 82, of Vestaburg passed away on January 24, 2024, at Schnepp's Senior Care in St. Louis, Michigan. She was born on December 23, 1941, in Detroit, the daughter of Louis and Sarah Torony. Candace is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Clore of Sterling Heights, Christine St. Amand of Cape Coral, FL; 6 grandchildren, William Peters II, Timothy Mefford Jr., Lea Shepard, Sarah Lankford, Richard Lankford, Kailey St. Amand; 6 great-grandchildren, Emma Opdyke, Lance Newman, Cole Peters, Aurora Whitney, Nova Peters, and Ryan Shepard; brother, Tom Torony; nephew, Nick Torony. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracey Lankford; and parents, Louis and Sarah. A memorial service for Candace will be scheduled for a later date.
