Mr. Large - He was my junior high principal. I remember his strong footsteps walking down the loud, long wooden floors. My parents (Lester and Pat Miller) were friends of The Larges in Stanton. My thoughts and prayers to the family. ~ Tammy (Miller) Hancock
My beloved grandfather...
Carl and Jane were members of our Sunday school class at New Life United Methodist Church. I had the pleasure of purchasing his plane in 2010 when Carl decided it was time stop flying. Over the next few years, Carl was always encouraging as I worked toward earning my pilot license. Carl was most proud of Carlos, his grandson, who learned to fly with his grandfather. Carlos became a commercial pilot because of Carl's encouragement and support. Carl always wanted to share his love of flying and was an great friend.
Jane- just saw reference.to Carl passing on Facebook. I'll always remember Carl taking Andrew flying and how proud he was as Carlos learned to fly! Caring and compassionate-

Carl walked the talk. He was a great example for my grandson who so appreciated his thoughtfulness (always had the motorbike ready to ride). Jerry learned so much from his big brother and took his lessons on life to heart . ❤️ I added some pictures of our visits from last two years.
