Carmetta M. Kutzbach's Obituary
Reed City - Carmetta Marie Shepherd Kutzbach, 75, of Reed City, went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 15, 2015. She was born on September 15, 1939 in West Branch, the daughter of John and Lucille (Bisbing) Hutchinson. Carmetta graduated from Reed City High School in 1956. She worked several years as a legal secretary and for the Michigan State Police and Five Cap. She was a hard worker and enjoyed trips to Florida, her dogs and family. She is survived by her son Dave (Barbie) Shepherd, her brother, Ray (Nancy) Hutchinson of Reed City , two nieces, one nephew, one grandson, Jonathan and his wife. Carmetta was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and a grandson, Jason Shepherd and two step sons. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 6-8:00 p.m. Final resting place will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Reed City. Memorial contributions may be made in Carmetta's name to Heartland Hospice Care.
