Carol Ann Peterson's Obituary
Carol Ann (Johnson) Peterson, age 70, of Entrican, went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2016 at her mother's home in Entrican, Michigan. Carol was born in Lakeview, Michigan on July 29, 1946, the daughter of Earnest Albert and Thelma Blanche (Jorgensen) Johnson.
Carol was raised in Entrican and attended a local country school. She graduated from Lakeview High School Class of 1964 and furthered her education at Montcalm Community College. Carol was employed by Chrysler in Lyons, Michigan. She retired from Wright's Plastic after twenty-five years in 2003.
Carol enjoyed bowling, gardening, playing games (esp. dice), and animals (her dogs and faithful companions, Smokey and Shiloh). She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their many sporting events. She also loved caring for her mother.
Carol will be deeply missed by her mother Thelma Johnson of Entrican; children Keith (Peggy) VanLuven of Vestaburg, and Theresa VanLuven of Entrican; grandchildren Dustin Davidson, Jonathan Iteen, Courtney Miller, Briana Iteen, Benjamin Hoskins, Rocky VanLuven, Ernie VanLuven, and Grace Caroline VanLuven; great-grandchildren Seth, Liam, Mason, and Lewis Davidson; one brother Rodney Johnson of Mecosta; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her father Earnest Johnson; daughter-in-law Sheila VanLuven; sister-in-law Rhoda Johnson; and nephew Brian Johnson.
Funeral services for Carol will take place on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, Michigan with a visitation at noon with Pastor Chris Bradshaw officiating. The family will also receive friends on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Entrican Hillside Cemetery following the service. The luncheon information will be announced following the service. Memorial Contributions may be made payable to the family.
