Carol Louise Borring's Obituary
Lakeview-Carol Louise (Bailey) Borring, age 81, of Six Lakes, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital in Greenville, MI, with family by her side. Carol was born on December 30, 1940, in Lansing, the daughter of John Vernon and Lucy Armina (DeMond) Bailey. She was raised in Lansing and attended Lansing Public Schools. Carol obtained her high school diploma in 1985. She met Bob Borring through mutual friends, and the two were married on July 12, 1991, in Stanton, MI. Carol enjoyed bingo, crocheting, cooking, game shows and motivating contestants. She loved spending time with family and her dog Tater.Carol is survived in death by sons, Roger Darling of Adrian, and Bill Zeis of Six Lakes; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Shanna, Josh, Ami, Jessica, Zack, DJ; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews.Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Borring in 2021; four children, Kimberlyn Darling, Lewis Darling, Daniel Darling, and Kempeni Zdunic; parents, John and Lucy Bailey; and siblings, William Bailey, John Bailey, Geraldine Conley, Jack Bailey, Dan Bailey, Kenneth Bailey, Judith Bailey, and Daniel Bailey.The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 5:00 -7:00 PM and the funeral on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM, all at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, MI. All are invited to a luncheon at Shanna's following the graveside in Hillcrest Cemetery in Six Lakes.
