Chad Eric Postema's Obituary
Big Rapids - Chad Eric Postema, 47, of Big Rapids went to be with his Heavenly Father Saturday, June 26, 2021, following a series of health issues.
He was born December 14, 1973, in Grand Rapids, the son of Terry and Susanne (Batson) Postema, and graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1991. For several years, Chad worked in the service department at Babb Ford in Reed City.
A man of great faith, Chad attended Trinity Fellowship Church. In his younger years he raced motocross, placing second in the state one year. He also enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.
Chad is survived by his mother Susie Postema; his father Terry (Cindi) Postema; daughter Dakota Reynolds; granddaughter Hayden Lynn; brother Todd (Michelle) Postema; nephews Drew and Dean (Makenzie) Eichenberg; niece Morgan Eichenberg; grand-nephews Gavin and Grayson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Trinity Fellowship Church, with Scott Barger officiating. Chad's family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made for the wishes of his family.
