Charles William Burr's Obituary
Edmore- Charles William Burr Sr, age 82, of Edmore passed away at his home on July 18, 2022. He was born on June 26, 1940, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Leon and Gladys (Bushong) Burr. Charles was raised in the Mount Pleasant area and attended Mount Pleasant Public School graduating in 1959. Charles met the love of his life Gloria Jean Andersen in Edmore and they married March 28, 1992. Charles was employed with the Village of Edmore for over 30 years before retiring. He was an avid outdoors man and hunter. Charles always made sure to watch Nascar and was a huge University of Michigan football fan.
Charles will be missed and is survived by his wife, Gloria Burr; sons, Charles (Sandra) Burr, Terry Don (Holly) Snow Jr, daughters, Allyson (Wendy) Martin, Lucinda Burr, Tonya (Pat) Miller, Tina (Joe) Courser, grandchildren, Gregg, Erik, Meghan, Hunter, Jordan, Morgan, Schriver, Slater, Matthew, Chase, Blake; and six great grandchildren.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Gladys; brothers, Kenneth and Leon; sisters, Erma and Marcella.
