Charles Norm an Cassavoy JR, age 69, of Edmore, passed away August 24th 2022, in his home from natural causes.Charles Cassavoy "Cass" was born in October 1952 in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Detroit Public Schools and went to the fire academy. Charles was employed at West Bloomfield fire department. He made the rank of LT. Retiring in 2006. During his career he created the K9 unit and was on the building collapse team. He was also on the Oakland County swat team as their medic. He joined the navy reserves and then was activated and participated In operation "Fiery Vigil", Republic of the Philippines, June 1991. He was married to his wife, Denise Cassavoy, for 25 years. He was enjoying his retirement days growing hay and fishing in his pond.Charles Cassavoy is survived by his wife, Denise Cassavoy, of Edmore. His two sons Chis, Chuck and his three stepchildren Brooke, Ryan and Lindsay. Also, his two sisters Shelly and Cheryl.The memorial service will be held on Monday, September 19thbetween 2-2:30pm at the Great Lakes National Cemetery at 4200 Belford Road Holly, Ml 48442.
