Charles Leroy Moore's Obituary
Lakeview - Charles Leroy Moore, age 76, of Morley, passed away August 19, 2018. Charles was born on June 9, 1942 in Mancelona, Michigan, in the family farm house, the son of Benjamin and Eula (Frederick) Moore. He spent his childhood years in Stanwood. Charles enjoyed talking about his work years in construction and over the road truck driving. He also enjoyed his time camping on family property in Mancelona. In his retirement years he enjoyed visiting his favorite local restaurants.
Charles is survived by his children, Teresa and Jeff Russell, Michael and Tracy Moore, and Laura and Tim Taylor; grandchildren Cynthia (Roman), Trenton (Casey), Andrew (Tiffany), Tristan (Megan), Seth, Taydden, and Logan; great-grandchildren Kaitlynn and Jackson. Also surviving are the mother of his children Carol Moore; his siblings, Joyce (Ned) Coulson, Duain Moore, Shirley Moore, Dale (Pam) Moore, Mary (Bob) Parker; and several nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Carl and Fred.
He will be laid to rest in the Altona Cemetery.
The family will meet friends for a luncheon at the Hinton Township Hall on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 12 noon.
