Cheryl Yvonne Cober's Obituary
Cheryl Yvonne Cober went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 6, 2024.
Cheryl came into this world on August 5, 1938, the 10th of 11 children born to William Cober Sr. and Inez (Hamilton) Cober.
Living most of her life in Reed City, MI, Cheryl retired from Evart Products Industry after over 30 years of service where she made many lifelong friends.
In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, playing dice and her family time, never having any children of her own, she had many nieces and nephews she thought the world of.
In her later years she lived at Meadowview Senior Living in Reed City and spent many hours playing cards, cooking dinners and making new friends. Cheryl was always up for a good visit, good food, and a talk about the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 of her 11 siblings. She leaves behind her sister Bonnie Castle of Chiefland, Florida, sister in-law Helen Cober of Mattawan, Mi., her many nieces and nephews, and her loving cat Marsha.
A celebration of life will be held at Meadowview Village on December 28, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested donations be sent to Meceola Currie Comfort Home.
Care and arrangements are entrusted to the Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
