Christina Ida Larson's Obituary
Big Rapids- Christina Ida "Tina" Larson, 95, of Big Rapids passed away Monday, October 17, 2011. She was born on September 5, 1916 in Colfax Township, the daughter of James and Esther (Molda) Maneke. Tina grew up and lived in the Rodney area her entire life. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking and taking care of all her nieces and nephews. Tina is survived by two brothers and one sister, Betty (Carl) Johansen of Rodney, Jim (Ida Mae) Maneke of Big Rapids and Dale (June) Maneke of Rodney, plus several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry Larson in 1993 and two brothers, Art and Earl Maneke.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Clayton Bates officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Pine Plains Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Tina's honor to Hospice of Michigan.
