Christine Louise Lucas' Obituary
Christine L. Lucas, (Chris) age 72, of Lakeview passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Nov. 28, 2019. Chris was born May 16th 1947, the daughter of Theron (Floyd) & Betty (Clifton) Mills. She was oldest of 5 children, and was born in Flushing MI. & raised in Sault Saint Marie, (Soo) MI.
Chris was employed with Wolverine World Wide for 48yrs, after retirement she kept busy with her grandkids & spoiling her kitty (Katie) AKA (Tubby). She enjoyed spending time with her family & her grandkids that she LOVED very much, that she would do anything for them. She also enjoyed bird watching, puzzles, reading Steven King & Dean Kootz, tending to her plants & flowers inside and out. She had a green thumb.
Chris is survived & deeply missed by her significant other, Jeff Stephens of (37yrs) her 2 children, daughter Steph Kahl (Brian C) of Gowen, MI, her son Bill Kahl of Lakeview, MI; 3 grandchildren, Harley Kahl, Riley Kahl, Justice Luttrell- Rummel, & step grandson Joey; her sister, Barbara Cantara (UG) & her nieces & nephew.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Theron (Floyd) & Betty Mills; 2 brothers, Bob & Norm Mills; her sister, Julie Burhans; her niece, Angiey (ango pizza); Aunts & Uncles.
