Christopher A. Cour's Obituary
Christopher A. Cour, 52, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Lynnwood House in Mt. Pleasant.
He was born July 21, 1966, the son of Arthur and Violet (Durfee) Cour. Chris lived most of his life in Mt. Pleasant, most recently at Lynnwood House.
Chris is survived by his siblings, Linda (George) Novotny of Valparaiso, IN, David (Cathy) Hardy of Durand, MI, Patricia (Mark) Fribley and Cindy (Bill) Jones of Big Rapids, Kathy (Ron) DeMott, and Arthur (Pam) Cour, both from Mecosta, and Terry (Lynn) Cour of Evart; many nieces and nephews, and his Lynnwood House family. He was preceded in death by his father in 1987, and his mother in 2016.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Charles Hewlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Mecosta. Christopher's family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
