Christopher Ray Stout's Obituary
Lakeview - Christopher Ray Stout, age 69, of Lakeview passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. He was born to Hugh and Rosalie (Almy) Stout on May 3, 1953, in Lakeview, where he was also raised. Christopher attended Lakeview Community Schools, graduating with the Class of 1971. He continued his education at Montcalm Community College earning a certificate in Solar Electronics. Christopher was employed by United Solar, Electrolux and General Tire during his working years. In 2007 he met Robin Francis and they were able to spend 15 happy years together. Christopher enjoyed hunting, watching sports, golfing, Stroh's beer and rock-n-roll music. He was a member of the United Auto Workers, the IBEW and attended many board meetings concerning bringing windmills to Cato Township. He loved helping the special ladies in his life and spending time with his family. Christopher is survived by the love of his life, Robin Francis of Six Lakes; daughter, Shelley (JB) Cummings of Lakeview; granddaughter, Kirstin Cummings; mother, Rosalie Stout of Thompsonville, sisters, Kathy Stout of New Buffalo, Julie (Dan) Becktell of Sawyer and their children, Kerri (Carl) Jurss, Michael (Erika) Becktell; bonus children, Andrew, Adrian, Angie Francis, Amy (Jason) Peterman; 9 bonus grandchildren; and 2 bonus great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Earl Stout. A celebration of Christopher's life will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview.
