Cindy Marissa Squier's Obituary
Fighting valiantly until the end, Cindy Marissa Squier passed away peacefully at her home on June 3, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born to Fredrick and Sally (Croton) Bischoff on May 1st, 1962 in Detroit, MI. Cindy married her sweetheart, Tony Squier in August of 1980.
Family oriented, she loved making her house a home and raising their children, taking great pride in keeping the house spic and span. Always on the hunt for a good bargain, she enjoyed shopping, and traveling with her family. She was a fan of all things Disney, particularly Mickey Mouse, and loved spoiling the kids, showering them with gifts and goodies.
A social bug who loved having family and friends around, she counted among her favorite activities camping, attending concerts, and kicking up her heels on the dancefloor. She was particular about making sure to spend time with her grandchildren and sharing in a good joke. She was a tough cookie through to the end.
Preceding Cindy in death is her father, Fredrick.
Left to carry on her memory are her mother, Sally; husband, Tony; children, Amy Squier, Tony (Andrea) Squier, and Danelle (Ben Pitts) Squier; grandchildren, Haleigh, Seth, Max, Bella, Justin, Reese, and Riley; great-grandchildren, Atilla and one on the way; Siblings, Elizabeth King, Fred Bischoff, Judy (Bill) Hahn, and Jeff Bischoff; Numerous nieces and nephews, special niece, Amber; God children, Nicholas and Denny Jr. and of course, her beloved dogs, Sophia and Tank.
Services will be held at Janowicz Family Funeral Home, Remus, MI, on Wednesday, June 7th at 11 am with Pastor Ruth Petersen presiding. Burial will follow in Broomfield Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10 am – 11am. Donations can be made to Promedica/Heartland Hospice in lieu of flowers.
