Claude A. Knapp's Obituary
Edmore- Claude A. Knapp, age 59, passed away on June 23rd, 2024, at his home. He was born on May 27, 1965, in Lakeview, the son of Harry Sr. and Janet (Dalrymple) Knapp of Blanchard. Claude was raised in Blanchard, MI and attended Chippewa Hills School. After the family moved, he attended Montabella Community School. Claude started working as a Welder for the Union. He traveled for work doing what he loved while sightseeing. During his free time, Claude received his GED. Claude's hobbies included hunting for bears and big game in other states. He also enjoyed hunting small game, fishing, playing guitar and singing. Claude was the oldest brother of his family and jokingly his mom's favorite. Claude is survived by his father; Harry Knapp Sr., 4 brothers; Ricky Knapp of Six Lakes, Harry (Linda) Jr. Knapp of Blanchard, Tony Knapp of Blanchard and Kevin (Rebecca) Knapp of Six Lakes; and 7 nieces and nephews. Claude was preceded in death by his grandparents; Howard and Hazel (Ewing) Dalrymple, mother; Janet (Dalrymple) Knapp, Uncles; Howard (Alan), Jerry, Lyle, Clarence and Clifford Knapp. Claude will be cremated and laid to rest by his mother Janet in New Haven Township Cemetery. A memorial service will be commemorated at Broomfield Township Hall on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, from 12pm-3pm.
