Clyde James Zimmerman's Obituary
Obituary- Clyde James Zimmerman, age 79, passed away on April 17, 2018 in Carson City, Michigan. Clyde was born on October 3, 1938 in Charlevoix County, Wilson Township to Henry and Mary (Merbs) Zimmerman. On August 2, 1958 in Boyne City, Michigan Clyde married Joan Houts. Clyde worked for Lobdell Emory Manufacturing in Alma, Michigan for nineteen and half years and eventually retired in 1996. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, mowing his lawn and tinkering around in his workshop. Most of all Clyde enjoyed joking and having fun with his friends and family.
Clyde will be missed by his wife Joan; his children James C. Zimmerman, Tracey Ingle and Diane Zimmerman; grandchildren Jamie (Jordan) Kinsey, Jessica McCray, James R. (Kristen) Zimmerman, Cai Fei (Jennie Shen), Ashley Zimmerman; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers Bill Zimmerman, Henry (Alice) Zimmerman and sisters Mary Ann (Alan) Baker and Norma Johnecheck. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents Henry Zimmerman and Mary Brown; sister Bernadine DeBaene; and infant daughter Janie Zimmerman.
Memorial services for Clyde will be held April 24, 2018 at St. Margret Mary's Catholic Church in Edmore, Michigan at 11a. m. with Father Dominic Tirkey. He will be laid to rest in Boyne City, Michigan.
