Connie Lou Beach's Obituary
Six Lakes-Connie Lou Beach, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital in Lakeview. She was born on October 2, 1936 in Montcalm County the daughter of Dean and Gladys (Neilsen) Richardson. Connie grew up in the Six Lakes area and graduated from Barryton High School. Connie loved spending time with her family and friends. She was very passionate about her time driving school bus for over 20 years and volunteering at Montabella Elementary School. Her stories of her "Kids" on the bus and school brought her much joy. She also loved camping in the Upper Peninsula, watching birds, reading, playing dominos, flowers and gardening. Most of all she loved her treasured time of sleepovers with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a life member of the Eastern Star Lodge in Six Lakes.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Burton Gene Beach; children Steven "Hoss" (Laurie) Buskirk, Stewart (Janice) Buskirk, Terri (Doug) Hadder, Shari (Todd) Beach, Mari (Larry) Jensen, Carrie (Randy) Rogers, Gina (Bob) Heath; 31 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister Deanna Ward; brother Gary (Barb) Richardson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents Dean and Gladys Richardson, son Steven Lewis, and brother-in-law Edward Ward.
