Connie Marie McQueen's Obituary
Constance “Connie” Marie McQueen, age 74 of Remus passed away suddenly in her home on December 17, 2014. Services will be held at New Hope United Methodist Church, Remus on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM with the family greeting friends at 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will take place after cremation at the Wambolt Cemetery. Pastor Greg Buchner will officiate the service.
Connie was born to Arthur and Mary Sniff on December 2, 1940. On May 30, 1969 she married Carl “Tuff” McQueen. She is survived by her children, Cheila (Kevin) Denslow, Marvin (Tina) Reichert, Brian (Denise) Reichert, Brenda Reichert (Arnie Mott), Kyle (Lori) Reichert, Renee (Chris) Torpey and Carla Stanley; brother-in-law, Grover “Vern” McQueen; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings; three grandchildren and sons-in-law, Neil Stanley and Tim Bundy.
The passions in Connie’s life included canning, baking, cooking and sewing. She will be missed for many reasons including her candy and cookie making at Christmas and making homemade salsa during canning time. She will be missed most of all for her caring and generosity toward her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the family. Envelopes will be available at the church.
