Corey Lee Lunsted's Obituary
Corey Lee Lunsted, age 37, of Vestaburg, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Corey was born April 17, 1987, in Lakeview, Michigan, the son of Jeffrey and Cindy (Lunsted) Funsch. He grew up in Vestaburg, where he attended Vestaburg Community Schools most his life. Corey worked for Double K Underground for a short period of time and was previously employed with HMK Landscaping and Lake Painting. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping wherever he could. Corey was known for helping whenever his family and friends needed a hand. He loved helping on his brother-in-law Sam's mud truck. He also liked to play on his little quad. Corey will be greatly missed by his sisters, Nicole (Samuel) Funsch of Vestaburg and Elonda (Xavier) Fullmore of Alma; his niece and nephews, Rebecca Stevens, Anthony Stevens and Samuel Stevens Jr.; grandma, Vanessa Savage of Florida; grandpa, Marion (Joyce) Funsch of Alma; aunts and uncles, Tammie Funsch-Henning of Grayling, Calvin(Barb) Funsch of Crystal, Denny Lunsted of Vestaburg, Annette (Joey) Mclochlin of Mt. Pleasant, Roxanne (Matt) Frasier of Shepherd, Sheilia Cool of Weidman, and Robert Lunsted of Vestaburg; severals cousin and close friends. Corey was preceded in death by his parents; grandpas, Thomas Savage and James Lunsted; and grandma, Precilla Ferguson. A celebration of Corey's life will be held at a later date.
