I remember when I was in her class the day after my dog died and she asked me to stay after. She knew I was acting not myself and asked me what was going on. I tild her and she hugged me while I cried. She was a good teacher and friend.

Jon and family, Cindi and I became acquainted when she was a substitute teacher in the MSCS School District from where I retired after 23 yrs in the finance office. She was a cheerful, smiling lady who always saw the good side of anyone. Jon, I've known you for years and send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Love and Hugs sent to you. R.I.P. Cindy was one of my favorite instructors at Montcalm Community College. However she was unable to finish out our class due to being seriously injured from a quad accident.
I have always loved and respected Cindy for her knowledge and the care she individually expressed to the class. Unknowing of her battle with cancer, this past week I was vividly thinking back to the things she had taught us, which helped me to get through my day.
My son happened to share with me just yesterday of her passing. To the family I want to share my (from the bottom of my heart) condolences and hugs. One thing I most remembered about Cindy's teaching was she taught us the importance of taking care of ourselves; to take the time needed to grieve, self care and let the healing begin. Keeping you All in my prayers during this difficult time.

I had the great honor of meeting Cindi this past December at her home. She was welcoming, kind, and a gracious hostess. Some people make more ripples in this world than others and it's obvious that Cindi will continue to touch the lives of so many in her community and also in the lives of her immediate friends and family. What an amazingly strong woman. She holds a special place in my heart and at her most brilliant suggestion, I will always remember to add double the amount of marshmallows to my rice krispy treats.
